I’m staying in Colorado Springs at the Bradford Suites while doing some work for my new employer, Christian Camps and Conferences Association. I saw this sign in the elevator. Their message misses the point.
You need to know that I’m staying in a construction zone. I’m on the third (top) floor, which just happens to be undergoing a makeover—new wallpaper, newly decorated rooms, etc. Which is fine…as far as that goes. But the hotel continues to book people into rooms within the areas under construction instead of limiting guests to rooms out of harms way.
Then they put up this sign. Please. When they say, “Please Excuse our Dust! We are making improvements to enhance your hotel experience,” they are really saying, Please excuse our dust. We are in the middle of improving our facility for future guests (because we know you won’t be back after your experience!”
They are not improving my experience…I won’t be staying here that long. It’s crazy. Oh yeah…the clock radio doesn’t work either.
bro, what up? post pics of your new pad & your new hood. 🙂
update…update…update?!?
I’m waiting, mister man.
Thanks for the links add, mister man.
ok…so this is bordering upon the ridiculous…you’ve been adding to the “family” stuff…but where’s the personal thoughts, the mike of old?
how long will this blog lie dormant? I keep hoping against hope that some new insights will blind me ‘ere I click upon the link…but, alas, it lies fallow.
