I happen to follow the local CBS affiliate (KKTV) on Twitter. I was intrigued by this tweet that came across yesterday afternoon.
Pretty cool stuff. I'm just a citizen but I can actually sit in on an news editorial meeting. If I pursued this, who knows, I might actually see one of my ideas become a news story (LIVE AT TEN!)
What if you organized a series of summer program meetings through the winter and actually invited campers and their parents to participate? There are aren't many ways you can tighten your tribe more than by empowering them and inviting them to be a part of what you do.
This is a great idea. One of the best ways I have seen to use twitter to further an organizational mission. Building relationships, engaging community and actually listening.
