I guess it's just human nature to get up every morning and in some form or another look for the map to follow. Look for someone else or some other company or some other ministry or organization who is doing or has done what you want to do and follow their "map," the directions they took to get where they are.
Maps, directions and "how to's" don't lead to adventures (unless the maps are wrong!) and they certainly won't lead you to your dreams. Your dreams are exactly that…yours. No one has ever traveled your road before because there's never been anyone quite like you before. That means of course that there is no map to follow. You have to draw the map!
Back in the day map makers would simply draw what they knew to be true. And beyond what they knew to be true they would write "there be dragons," or they might even draw dragons around the edges of their map to represent the danger of the unknown.
To find your dream and to follow the true purpose of your life you have to start looking for those dragons. Your path doesn't lie on the certain…it lies beyond. Maps are certain. They represent the knowledge and experience of others who have gone before. Your path is unknown because you haven't been there yet.
So where are you going to explore today? Which dragon of the unknown will you conquer?
Love this! Which dragon of the unknown will you conquer!!!
