I love watching Frank Sinatra on stage. I loved the way he sang but more than that I love the way he took command of the stage and the audience. Watch this video. Certainly listen to his voice. But more importantly, watch what he does. Watch how he does it. There's no denying it…Frank had "it."
Call it confidence, security, showmanship, ego, a sense of certainty…whatever you want to call it, you have to admit Frank had it. Of course lots of folks would say that anyone would sound good on the stage with Count Basie.
Certainly there were better singers. Arguably there were even better performers. But when Frank took the stage, he knew he was Frank Sinatra. He knew he was one of a kind. He knew he was doing what few (if any) could do.
What about you? Do you have it? YES! You have it. There are talents and skills and art that you possess that no one else in this world has. And we need you to bring that to the table. We need you to lead us. We need that special thing that you possess. In fact, there's a big hole in our staff, our family, our church, our company, our ministry until you bring "it."
Embrace IT today. Take a deep breath. The curtain is opening. The lights are going up. It's show time. And we can't wait to see you do your thing.
Mike, I can see Sully watching this over and over to pick up “the Moves” of the great Sinatra! He does it Great! Need to see more of it. I think Sully could also do a Michael Buble! Another great of this era!
